Thank YOU So Much!

I’ve only had this blog a few days now and really had only planned to write here so I’d have a place to keep me motivated.  To keep me accountable.  I didn’t think anyone would read my ramblings – aside from a few friends and family.

The outpouring of support and comments from others who have been down the exact same road I’m on has touched me more than I can say.  Thank you so much for each and every comment.  It only further motivates me to stick to this journey – to reach my goal.

I’m just four days away from returning to Weight Watchers.  Returning to an exercise plan.  Getting back on the road to healthy.  I’ve been having a bit of a pity party with all the foods I’ll no longer be able to eat.  Regular pasta.  McDonald’s.  Ice cream.  I know I can do it.  But I will miss them.  Thankfully I still have one cheat meal a week.  I don’t eat anything but that one meal for the day (which I realize is unhealthy, but it’s SO many points).

The best part is I never feel guilty on cheat day.  It’s one day for me to indulge, to eat out at a nice restaurant and not worry about the calories.

Cheat days actually help me stay on the plan.  I think if I didn’t have a cheat, I’d feel like I was missing out and would go back to old habits really quickly.
