Day 2

19 Feb

Today marks day 2 on the Weight Watchers plan.  Today was definitely easier than yesterday, but I’m still struggling.  I know my body will get used to the smaller portions and the healthier eating.  I know my mind will follow as well.  But these first few days are just so difficult.

Figuring out what things fill me up the most.  Figuring out tricks (drink more water!) so I feel less hungry.  Managing points so I’m sure I’m on target.

The good news is that today I didn’t hit all my points for the day – I had one to spare.  I had an apple with reduced fat peanut butter for breakfast (sensing a pattern?), lasagna for lunch, another apple for a snack, and then chicken stir fry over spinach green pasta for dinner.  I even had room for a small slice of cake.  All in all, a successful day – food wise.

Looking forward to going to the store this weekend and having a better feel for what I need.  Things that will keep me on track and keep me happy.  I’ve got to find that balance – that’s where I had success last time and lost 45 pounds.  This time, I’ll be sure to look at some recipes first and plan better.  🙂

It has been so inspiring to read the stories of others who have been on this same journey.  Those who are obese or just have a few pounds to lose.  It’s encouraging to see that you can do it – you give me hope and inspiration that I can as well.  That I will reach my goal and celebrate at Disney World.  I know I can do this – just have to have faith!

    You go girl!!! You can do this, you will have ups, you will have downs and many celebrations and aha moments in between. I can’t wait to see those Disney pics!
