This and That

It has been a while since I’ve blogged.  Still on Weight Watchers, but the past week has definitely been hard.  Let me explain …

The most important thing is that I didn’t fall off the wagon or go over my daily point allowance.  I still didn’t touch my extra weekly points or use any of my activity points.  So there’s the plus side.

On the down side, I wasn’t the wisest in choosing my food options.  For example, I had a turkey bacon ranch wrap from Arby’s yesterday.  16 points.

I also only worked out twice – still haven’t found my get-up-and-go attitude that I had the last time I was on Weight Watchers.  Although, last time I did this – I wasn’t running my own business and glued to my chair 24/7.

I only lost .6 pounds last week.  Yet another reason to feel a bit glum about the week overall.  I was losing approximately 4 pounds a week the first go-round.  Less than a pound is really a bummer.

Today is Monday though – a fresh start.  Hoping to make better food choices and exercise more.

In other news – I LOVE the Weight Watchers scanner app for the iPhone.  It makes grocery shopping so much easier! Just a quick scan of the UPC barcode and it gives you the points per serving for whatever item you’re looking at.  Well done, Weight Watchers.  Well done!

    We dont have a WW scanner in the uk so have to use the claculators all the time, def sounds great though!
    The key I find with eating out is know what foods to allow you to have in each place and if still like to decide on the day then you know the options, so I know in subway i can have turkey breast and ham or veggie delight for example.
